Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Toward the beginning of each year, Sugarfoot Stomp holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to review the past year and prepare for the upcoming year.

At the AGM, we:

  • Discuss how the society has met its mission,

  • Recap major events from the past year,

  • Review the society’s financials and budget, and

  • Nominate and elect members to fill Board Member and other volunteer roles.

Financials

A core value of Sugarfoot Stomp is that we are financially sustainable and transparent. In service of this core value, our Board Members prepare an annual Performance Report and present it at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Annual Performance Reports are also required to retain our Tier 4 Registered Charitable Status.

Performance Reports are organised into two areas:

  1. Non-Financial Information (to tell the charity’s ‘story’ over the year)

  2. Financial Information (the profit and loss financial reports)
