It’s the most important event on the Sugarfoot Stomp Calendar… the AGM 2022/2023!
An Annual General Meeting is held once every year. All current 2022 members may attend and vote at the AGM. Not a Current Member? Interested in joining? You are welcome to attend too! It’s the best way of finding out the strategic plans for Sugarfoot Stomp operations over the coming year and how you can get involved.
The business of our AGM will cover the following (as set out in the Sugarfoot Stomp constitution).
31.1. The business of an Annual General Meeting shall be:
31.1.1. Receiving any minutes of the previous Society’s Meeting(s);
31.1.2. The Board’s report on the business of the Society;
31.1.3. The Treasurer’s report on the finances of the Society, and the Annual Financial Statements;
31.1.4. Presentation of the Board’s Operations Plan for the next financial year;
31.1.5. Motions to be considered; and,
31.1.6. General business
To hold the AGM and continue all Sugarfoot Stomp operations into 2023 we must have at least 6 eligible Members attend to form a quorum.
Membership will open soon after the AGM. Joining early will guarantee member benefits. Sugarfoot Stomp IS the Membership.

This year the Sugarfoot Stomp Board (Amy B, Harriet, Maxine, and Alan) have stepped it up and are stoaked to bring you a full programmed event jam-packed with exciting activities! All the venues are within a 5-7 minute walking distance loop of each other. EASY AS!

Event #1: AGM Welcome Social Swing Dance

Venue: 22 Webb Street (upstairs) Studio 2
Time: 10:30am to 12pm
THIRSTY? MAKE IT EASY! Pre order through SFS and pay for your beverage on pick up from the Preservatorium en route via a short walk to the AGM.
Event #2: Sugarfoot Stomp AGM 2022/2023
Cost: FREE
Venue: Thistle Hall Meeting Room- (Downstairs)
Time: 12:15pm - 2:15pm
SFS Members will ‘bring a plate’ for everyone to share and re fuel after dancing.
Event #3: Toast Sugarfoot Stomp!
Cost: Purchase food and beverages
Venue: Rogue and Vagabond
Time: 2:15 pm onwards
Grab a drink and food, catch up with your dancing friends.
